In 2023, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations engaged relevant stakeholders through the Global Forum on Food Security and Nutrition (FSN Forum) to inform the development of a Voluntary Code of Conduct on the Sustainable Use and Management of Plastics in Agriculture (VCoC). Stakeholders offered significant insights regarding the current utilisation and management of agricultural plastics, addressing sustainability challenges, existing regulatory frameworks, and factors pertinent to the design and execution of the VCoC. This report examines the feedback obtained from the 108 stakeholders who engaged in the consultation.
